IGRS AP: Stamp Duty & Registration Fees

To register property in Andhra Pradesh, the buyer must pay stamp duty and registration fees to IGRS AP. 

The stamp duty and registration fees are calculated on either the IGRS AP market value or the circle rate of the property (whichever is higher). 

• For Andhra Pradesh citizens, the stamp duty in the case of a sale deed is 5% 

• For Andhra Pradesh citizens, the registration charges in case of a sale deed are 1%

• Both the buyer and seller should have passport-size photographs.

Steps To Pay Stamps & Registration Charges Online

Step 1: Navigate to the website of Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd IN Andhra Pradesh to pay stamp duty.

Step 2: Login to your account.

Step 3: Choose the Andhra Pradesh state and proceed with the online payment of stamp duty via RTGS, IMPS, NEFT, UPI, etc. 

Steps to Know the Property’s Market Value at IGRS AP

Follow the steps below to know your property's IGRS AP market value.  

Step 1: Visit the IGRS Andhra Pradesh portal at http://registration.ap.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the website's IGRS AP Market Value Certificate option.

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page where you will have to fill in the details, like whether the property is agricultural or non-agricultural, the district name, the village number, and the Mandal name. 

Step 4: Click "Submit" for the IGRS AP market value details.

Steps To Check e-Encumbrance Certificate Statement at IGRS AP EC

It is important to check the encumbrance certificate of the property when you're buying one. It ensures the authenticity of the property when in question.

Step 1: Visit the IGRS AP website and select the "Encumbrance Certificate" tab of services on the portal.

Step 2: Choose an encumbrance certificate on the IGRS AP portal.

Steps To Calculate Stamp Duty & Registration Charges on IGRS AP

Step 1: Visit the portal of IGRS Andhra Pradesh. 

Step 2: Select 'Duty Fee Calculator' from the homepage. 

Step 3: A new page will appear where you must fill in the details.

Step 4: Once filled, click on "Calculate."
