The Telangana’s double bedroom eligibility criteria are:

• You must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Telangana

• You must not own a residential plot or house in Telangana

• You or your family members must not have opted for any government schemes in the past

• Your family’s size should not exceed five members

Telangana double bedroom scheme’s eligibility also depends on the area you live:

• If you live in an urban area, you must have a housing income of less than INR 2.5 lakhs per annum.

• If you live in a rural area, you must have a housing income of less than INR 2 lakhs per annum.

Here are the reservations provided for allotment of the affordable houses as per the Telangana Double Bedroom eligibility:

1. Reservation For Rural Area Under Double Bedroom Scheme

If you belong to a rural area:

• 50% reservation is provided for SC/ST

• 7% reservation is provided for minorities

The rest 43% is for others.   

2. Reservation For Urban Area Under Double Bedroom Scheme

If you belong to an urban area:

• 17% reservation is provided for SC

• 6% reservation is provided for ST

• 12% reservation is provided for minorities

You need to fill this up manually and attach it along with the rest of the documents

• Copy of Aadhaar card
