If you are a real estate agent in Rajasthan, it is necessary to register with RERA Rajasthan.
Rajasthan’s RERA mandates that no real estate agent can act as a representative of any person to facilitate the sale of any plot/apartment/building before obtaining registration with RERA Rajasthan.
In case you fail to register yourself as a real estate agent with Rajasthan RERA:
- You will be fined Rs 10,000 (per day)
- If you continue acting as a representative during this time, the fine may extend up to 5% of the cost of the plot, building, or apartment for which you are conducting the purchase/sale.

The following projects do not need to be registered:
- If the area of the proposed land is less than five hundred square metres

- If the promoter of a project has received the completion certificate for any real estate project before the commencement of the RERA Act
- If the project’s purpose is to renovate, repair or re-develop that does not involve any advertising, selling, marketing, or allotment of any new apartment, plot or building under the real estate project.
