Farmers and landowners remain excluded from various central and state government schemes because the antiquated RoR records didn’t contain names of present landowners, and instead had names of their ancestors. In the absence of updated RoR records, the landowners are forced to go through a tedious document validation process to avail benefits of schemes like PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna.
