In a significant move towards ensuring transparency, accountability, and fair practices in the real estate sector, the Government of Haryana introduced the "Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority'' (Haryana RERA). It covers both Gurgaon RERA and HRERA Panchkula. The Haryana RERA was established in July 2017 to monitor transactions related to the sale and purchase of land, plots, apartments, or buildings.

Haryana RERA, established under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act of 2016, aims to safeguard the interests of homebuyers and promote healthy growth in the real estate market. So, if you are a resident or belong to Harayna, then this comprehensive guide on Haryana RERA is all you need.

Haryana RERA: Overview

RERA Haryana, also known as HRERA, was set up to bring about transparency and accountability in the real estate sector. Its primary goals are to protect buyers' rights, prevent fraudulent activities, and ensure timely project deliveries. Furthermore, builders have to register their projects at the Haryana RERA website, @haryanarera.gov.in, to ensure the saleability of their projects. The Haryana RERA-registered projects establish good faith and reputation in the market.

It is advisable to buy Haryana RERA-registered projects to avoid future discrepancies or disputes. Furthermore, if buyers encounter a project delay situation, the Haryana real estate regulatory authority of HRERA Gurgoan and HRERA Panchkula ensure that the builder compensates the buyers.
